The world is revolutionized by the advancement of technology, and the contribution of computer science to this advancement is inexplicable.
At an early age, when I was not wise enough to understand the impact of computer science in today's world, I wondered what was so special about it? With time, the world of innovations unfolded in front of my eyes and I could not help myself but remain spellbound by the fact that we are driven by innovations in our daily life which have been made possible by computer science. The vast scope of the subject and its profound impact on the world was enough incentive to actuate me for a career in computer science.

I finished my Bachelor of Science (BSc.) and Master of Science(MSc.) with a major in Computer Science from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, India. After my graduation, I was endowed with the opportunity to pursue the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree under Dr. Sanjay Madria at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla (Missouri, United States). As a part of the Wireless to Cloud Computing (W2C) laboratory, my experience as a Research Assistant so far has been no less than what I expected when I was accepted to the program. Hours of sleepless nights, defending my research among my peers, paper writing, last-minute rush to meet the deadlines, as well as occasional pizza parties with my wonderful colleague has been an elixir to the inquisitiveness with which I started the journey as a Ph.D. student.
